NERO Imperator streetwear print artwork — halftone portrait with vertical typography

INDEPENDENT CLOTHING LABEL — BUDAPEST, HUNGARY

Nothing for everyone.

NERO creates limited-edition streetwear through finite, numbered drops developed independently in Budapest.

Each release begins with one concept and ends when the edition is gone. No seasonal calendar. No permanent catalogue. No restocks.

Roman imperial imagery, propaganda and symbols of power are taken apart and rebuilt as contemporary graphic clothing — not reproduced as historical merchandise.
WHAT THIS IS

A clothing label that behaves like a record label.

NERO approaches clothing the way an independent record label approaches music: one release at a time.

A drop is treated as a complete edition with its own concept, visual system and predetermined quantity. When that edition is finished, the catalogue moves forward instead of reproducing what already worked.

The model is deliberately narrow. Fewer releases allow each piece to carry a stronger identity and become part of a documented NERO archive.

Black is ground. White is type. Red is signal. Roman references, contemporary typography and controlled repetition give the label continuity without turning every release into the same object.

  • 0101 — FINITE EDITIONS: Every release is produced in a defined quantity.
  • 0202 — NO RESTOCKS: A closed edition stays closed.
  • 0303 — CONCEPT FIRST: The garment exists to carry the idea, not the other way around.
  • 0404 — RESTRICTED VISUAL SYSTEM: Black is ground. White is type. Red is signal.
  • 0505 — INDEPENDENT DIRECTION: No seasonal calendar dictates when NERO has to release.
  • 0606 — PRICE THE OBJECT: Value should come from the garment, execution and edition — not manufactured hype.
